Discovering the Saclay Plateau

Get some fresh air in the countryside – just 30 minutes from Paris!

A bike ride to discover the bucolic landscapes of the Saclay plateau: a 30km route, without major difficulties, through woods, fields, ponds and farms. A change of scenery guaranteed!

We plan to stop at some notable points of interest to drink and eat.

Accompaniment by a local and qualified cycling instructor to guarantee everyone's safety.

Level : open to all those able to cover 30km in 3 hours by bike (mountain bike, gravel bike, electric mountain bike…).

Price :

• The price is a price per person, for the outings scheduled on the dates indicated.

Departure and return: Departure at 9:30 from the Bièvres train station car park, return at 12:30 – possibility to come by car, train, on foot or by bicycle.

Included:

• Cycling guidance, including mechanical assistance to repair the most common breakdowns if needed (punctures, broken chains, various adjustments, etc.), by a state-certified cycling instructor
• As an option, lunch in a restaurant in Bièvres offering local and organic dishes at the end of the outing.

Not included:

• bicycles and cycling equipment

What you need to bring:

• Bicycle in good condition, mountain bike or gravel bike type, capable of riding on dirt roads
• Helmet (mandatory!)
• Can filled
• What you need to repair a puncture (inner tube suitable for your bike)
• A light backpack if necessary (cereal bars, a rain jacket in case of rain…)
